Movie Night

The Middle School Holiday Movie Night was a big hit.  On December 4th the Middle school class held a fundraiser where we IMG_2117showed Christmas movies to primary, Lower and Upper Elementary.   When the kids arrived and came from daycare, they went outside to play, and then came over to Middle Schools Cafe to eat pizza before the movies started.

The kids were very energetic and excited while we handed out the pizza.  The kids seemed to really like the pizza, and had fun together.   The room was packed to the brim with students, but as soon as Upper And Lower Elementary went to the primary daycare room in the main building, it got much quieter.

Everyone in the Primary room got suited up in their Christmas pajamas, gathered on the carpet, and sat in a circle bright with smiles and eagerness.  when we called each child to get their pillows and blankets, they were very exciIMG_2122ted.  The movie we picked for them was “Horton Hears a Who” which the kids loved.  After it was over we played the animated version of “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” until they went home.

In the primary daycare room, Upper and Lower Elementary had a good laugh while watching Will Ferrell’s Elf.  There was a lot of laughing and the kids loved the movie.   When Elf was over they made there way over to middle school to play in the Lower and Upper daycare room, or watch “The Grinch That Stole Christmas” with the primary students.IMG_2116

This Fundraiser was a huge hit by students and parents and we will definitely do it in the future.
