The Sun Grove Montessori Middle School hosted the Jump Rope for Heart Event. During Jump Rope for Heart, children from Toddlers to Middle School Jumped for approximately one hour. Before Jump Rope for Heart, children raised money to donate to the American Heart Association. Based on the amount of money they raised they earn prizes. The Primary friends went through an obstacle course that was set up by middle school students. All together the school raised over eight hundred dollars for the American Heart Association.
Every student got a toy dog for participating in jump rope for heart. If a student brought a donation for the American Heart Association, they also earned a dog based on how much money they brought in. Jump Rope for Heart was a great success. Many students had lots of fun and we collected many donations for the American Heart Association. Jump Rope for Heart is a great fundraiser for a good cause. This year’s Jump Rope for Heart was a great experience for the middle school and for all of the other students.
At the end of the event some students got together and made the word “jump” out of people in the grass.
